Description
This Vertex piston kit is designed as a direct replacement for your worn or damaged piston. The piston is manufactured from a gravity-cast aluminum alloy containing 18% silicone, resulting in a strong, lightweight component. It undergoes a T-5 heat treatment, which includes hardening and tempering cycles to enhance its durability. A Molybdenum Disulphide coating is applied to the piston skirt, promoting faster break-in and reducing friction, which contributes to longer piston life. Specifically designed for 125cc 2-stroke engines, this cast piston replicates the original equipment, ensuring proper fitment and optimal engine performance. Rings are OEM replacements ensuring quality and reliability.
