Vertex Cast Replica Pistons are gravity-cast from an aluminum alloy containing 18% silicone, resulting in a light yet exceptionally strong piston. Each piston undergoes a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle for increased strength and durability. The piston skirt features a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite coating, promoting faster break-in and reduced friction, ultimately extending piston life.
