This cast replica piston kit from Vertex provides a cost-effective solution without sacrificing quality. Crafted from gravity-cast aluminum alloy with an 18% silicone content, the piston achieves an exceptional balance of lightweight design and robust strength. The piston has been heat-treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle, enhancing its structural integrity and wear resistance. Each piston skirt features a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphide coating to reduce friction, promote faster break-in, and extend piston life.
