Description
The Terry Components Starter Motor features a robust design using heavy-duty components, assembled in the U.S.A. to exacting standards. The solenoid plunger, return damper, and springs are upgraded with stronger alternatives for increased reliability. The clutch shaft and rollers are replaced with precision-ground and hardened parts, significantly extending service life. A special lubricant is applied to all components during assembly, specifically formulated for starter roller clutch applications. The CNC-machined billet mounting noses, secured with aerospace fasteners, provide a secure and precise fit. Each 1.5 kW starter undergoes comprehensive dyno testing, evaluating hi-low voltage performance, stall torque, solenoid engagement, amperage draw, load test results, maximum RPM, and motor impulse waveform. This thorough testing guarantees exceptional performance and longevity. Made in the USA.
