The Terry Components 2.0 Kw Starter Motor is engineered to provide superior cranking torque and reliability. Boasting a 4.4:1 gear reduction, this starter produces 46% more cranking torque than a stock starter, ensuring your engine fires up quickly and efficiently. We replace the solenoid plunger, return damper, and springs with stronger components, and the clutch shaft and rollers are replaced with precision-ground and hardened parts for extended service life. All components are assembled using a special lubricant optimized for starter roller clutch applications. The CNC-machined billet mounting noses, secured with aerospace fasteners, ensure durability and precise fitment. Each starter undergoes rigorous dyno testing, including hi-low voltage, stall torque, solenoid engagement, amperage draw, load test, maximum RPM, and motor impulse waveform analysis, to guarantee peak performance. This starter motor is proudly made in the USA.
