Description

The Terry Components 2.0 kW Starter Motor is engineered to provide 46% more cranking torque than stock starters, thanks to its 4.4:1 gear reduction. We replace the solenoid plunger, return damper, and springs with stronger components. The clutch shaft and rollers feature precision-ground and hardened parts, extending service life. All components are assembled with a special lube specifically designed for starter roller clutch applications. CNC-machined billet mounting noses are secured with aerospace fasteners to guarantee robustness. Each starter undergoes thorough dyno testing, including hi-low voltage, stall torque, solenoid engagement, amperage draw, load test, maximum RPM, and motor impulse waveform analysis. This starter is designed to start even the most demanding "monster" motors. For optimal performance, we recommend using it with Terry battery cables and a battery rated at 300+ cold cranking amps, such as the Drag Specialties battery. Proudly made in the USA.
