This Terry Components starter motor delivers exceptional cranking torque thanks to its 4.4:1 gear reduction. We've upgraded key components, including a stronger solenoid plunger, return damper, and springs, ensuring dependable engagement and extended life. The clutch shaft and rollers are precision-ground and hardened, further enhancing durability. During assembly, a special lubricant designed for starter roller clutch applications is used. CNC-machined billet mounting noses are secured with aerospace fasteners, guaranteeing a robust and precise fit. Each 2.0 kW starter undergoes comprehensive dyno testing, evaluating hi-low voltage performance, stall torque, solenoid engagement, amperage draw, load test, maximum RPM, and motor impulse waveform.
