The Tecmate OptiMate SAE Panel Mount Socket provides a convenient and weatherproof solution for creating a power point on your motorcycle or other vehicle. This socket allows you to easily connect and disconnect SAE-compatible devices, such as battery chargers, heated gear, and other accessories.
Description
This panel mount socket is designed for easy installation, fitting into an 18mm (23/32") drilled hole and securing with a front mount and rear fastener. It's suitable for panels with a thickness of 1mm. The industry-standard 2-pin SAE connector ensures compatibility with a wide range of devices. Built to withstand extreme conditions, the cable is rated for a maximum of 5 Amps and is designed for very low-temperature use, remaining flexible even below freezing. If you're looking to replace your BMW, Triumph, or Ducati 12V DIN 'Hella' socket, this is a direct drop-in replacement, giving you added SAE functionality.
