Description
This S&S Cycle V124 Long Block Engine is designed as a bolt-in solution for '84-'99 Evolution Big Twin engines and '70-'99 custom chassis equipped with an alternator-style primary. The specially machined cylinder heads allow the use of a stock length manifold, while the engine is designed to accommodate both EFI and carburetor setups. The crank and case are machined for a crank position sensor, providing compatibility with modern ignition systems. This long block features S&S cylinder heads, S&S valve springs, forged rocker arms, a 640 cam, a three-piece flywheel assembly, a 1.671" diameter crankpin, 0.927" wristpins, a high-volume high-pressure oil pump, electric compression releases, and forged pistons. All these features combine to provide a powerful and reliable 124 cubic inch engine. The engine is made in the USA to exacting standards. To unlock the full potential of this powerhouse, a performance ignition and carburetor are required.
