Description

The S&S Cycle Super Stock® cylinder heads feature moderately sized 1.940" intake and 1.575" exhaust valves, which optimize port velocity for smaller displacement engines, resulting in excellent throttle response and overall performance. Equipped with high-performance valve springs, these heads accommodate camshafts with lifts up to .650". The combustion chamber design yields a significantly higher, yet manageable, compression ratio for increased power output. For those seeking even higher compression, the heads can be decked up to .060", although this will require re-machining of piston valve pockets. These cylinder heads are compatible with stock rocker boxes, exhaust systems, and intake manifolds, simplifying the installation process. Machined to accept S&S® electric or manual compression releases, they offer enhanced control and ease of starting. • Not compatible with '14-'16 FLHTK/FLHTKL, FLHTCUTG Twin-Cooled motors or '17 and later touring models.
• Must use the included S&S valve cover gasket kit with stock rocker covers.
• Must use S&S rocker boxes if S&S compression releases are used.
