The Prox Cast Piston Kit is crafted using a gravity casting process with a high-silicon aluminum alloy, containing approximately 18% silicon. This silicon content significantly reduces thermal expansion, enhancing piston stability and longevity. Whether you have a cast iron or Nikasil cylinder bore, Prox has you covered. For Nikasil cylinders, Prox offers various oversizes in A/B/C/D grades, each increasing by 0.01mm in diameter, allowing for precise fitment and optimal performance. The piston's design is often similar to OEM configurations, but with adjustments made by Prox engineers to maximize performance where possible. This kit provides improved heat dissipation and reduced friction, contributing to increased engine life and power output. This kit features a piston size of +0.50mm and a bore size of 82.50mm.
