The Prox Cast Piston Kit is designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications, ensuring a precise fit and optimal performance. Prox engineers utilize gravity casting with a premium aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon. This silicon content significantly reduces thermal expansion, providing a more stable and consistent piston. Manufactured for both cast iron and Nikasil cylinder bores, Prox offers a variety of oversizes, graded in A/B/C/D sizing, each increasing by 0.01mm in diameter for Nikasil cylinders. The standard size B piston with a 55.95 mm diameter guarantees compatibility with a wide range of two-stroke engines. The included steel rings are designed for optimal sealing and long life.
