The Prox Cast Piston Kit is designed with performance and longevity in mind. Manufactured using gravity casting and a high-silicon aluminum alloy (approximately 18% silicon content), these pistons offer exceptional stability and reduced thermal expansion. This is critical for maintaining tight tolerances and consistent performance under demanding conditions. Specifically designed for two-stroke engines, the Prox piston is suitable for both cast iron and Nikasil cylinder bores. For Nikasil bores, ProX offers various oversizes in A/B/C/D grades, each increasing by 0.01mm in diameter, ensuring a precise fit and optimal sealing. With a piston diameter of 44.97mm and a moly-coated skirt, this standard size B piston kit minimizes friction and maximizes power output.
