The Prox Cast Piston Kit is designed with performance and longevity in mind. Manufactured using gravity casting with a premium aluminum alloy containing approximately 18% silicon, these pistons offer exceptional stability and reduced thermal expansion. This is crucial for maintaining tight tolerances and preventing performance degradation under high operating temperatures. Suitable for both cast iron and Nikasil cylinder bores, Prox offers a range of oversizes for Nikasil bores, graded in A/B/C/D sizing, with each increment increasing by 0.01mm in diameter.
