The Progressive Suspension 944 Series shocks are engineered with Frequency Sensing Technology (FST), allowing them to automatically adjust damping based on the frequency of bumps encountered, delivering a superior ride in various conditions. The unique spring combination lowers rider height when riding or on the side stand, improving control at intersections and when parking. Easily adjust spring preload by hand without special tools. These shocks are high-pressure gas charged, ensuring consistent performance and progressive rate mainsprings specifically designed for touring models. Available in three configurations to suit your needs: Standard (up to 250 lbs), Heavy-Duty (250 to 350 lbs), and Super Heavy-Duty (350+ lbs), these shocks are a great addition to your motorcycle. Super heavy-duty applications are recommended for bikes operating above the manufacturer’s maximum load rating over 50% of the time. Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that are different than the OEM length, confirm that your wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact, as well as chain/belt guard or tire contact.
