Description

The Progressive Suspension 444 Series shocks feature Frequency Sensing Technology (FST), which automatically adjusts damping based on the frequency of bumps encountered, ensuring a superior ride. The deflective disc valving further enhances damping performance. These shocks are high-pressure gas charged and include a progressive rate spring, providing consistent performance across various riding conditions. Spring preload can be easily adjusted by hand, eliminating the need for special tools. Heavy-duty applications are recommended for bikes operated near the manufacturer’s maximum load rating over 50% of the time. Please ensure proper wheel travel clearance when installing shocks that differ from the OEM length to avoid contact issues.

Important to know

Before purchasing or installing shocks that differ from the OEM length, confirm that your wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact, as well as chain/belt guard or tire contact. A shock which is slightly longer than stock may alter the head angle slightly and provide somewhat quicker steering. A shock which is slightly shorter than stock may slightly alter the head angle and provide somewhat slower steering.
