Before purchasing or installing shocks with different lengths than the OEM, ensure that wheel travel adjustments will not cause clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact or chain/belt guard or tire contact. Heavy-duty applications are recommended for bikes operating at or near maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
