Before purchasing or installing shocks with a length different from the OEM length, verify that the wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact or chain/belt guard or tire contact. Heavy Duty (HD) applications are recommended for bikes operated at or near maximum load rating over 50% of the time.
