The Roadtec™ 01 SE features a unique tread pattern design with a higher land/sea ratio on the tire's shoulders, both front and rear, providing a sporty feel and muscular presence. The shoulders transition from 90% land/sea ratio to slick rubber at a 25-degree lean angle, improving upon the original Roadtec™ 01 design. This puts more rubber on the road at extreme lean angles. The center section matches the 82% land/sea ratio of the Roadtec™ 01, benefiting from advanced water drainage technology. Transversal grooves ensure mechanical grip and effective water drainage, allowing for fine interaction with ABS systems. The new slick shoulder design boosts grip at maximum lean angles, increasing safety and confidence when cornering. Saber-shaped grooves further enhance mechanical grip and water drainage. Drop-shaped grooves improve traction on low-friction surfaces and increase stability during braking, while also accelerating compound warm-up.
