Description
The Kibblewhite Nitrided Valve is constructed from one-piece stainless steel and features a stellite-tipped design. It undergoes a special nitriding process, creating a .002" deep layer with a .0002" surface buildup. This treatment significantly improves wear properties, reduces friction, and provides exceptional resistance to corrosion, surpassing hard chromium and electrolysis nickel plating in durability. Its lightweight profile ensures excellent flow characteristics, optimizing engine performance. Compatible with both leaded and unleaded fuels, this valve can be used with cast iron and bronze-type guides at close tolerances, promoting maximum oil control and efficient heat dissipation.
