Description
Specifically designed for rapid acceleration and high variable torque applications, the G-Force RedLine™ drive belt utilizes Gates' patented fiber-reinforced EE (ethyl elastomer) compound. This innovative construction provides exceptional transverse stiffness and heat resistance, resulting in 75% better dynamic axial stiffness and 50% lower speed losses at temperatures up to 338°F (170°C). The high-tensile aramid cord layer, combined with a specially formulated adhesion gum, maximizes acceleration, shock load resistance, and overall service life. The fabric cog jacket on rounded bottom cogs promotes smooth shifting and delivers increased abrasion resistance. Furthermore, this belt is manufactured without chlorinated compounds, reducing its environmental impact.
