Description
The Denso IXU24 Iridium Spark Plug features a fine wire iridium center electrode, six times harder than platinum, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 4,000°F. The 0.4mm iridium electrode reduces voltage requirements while dramatically improving firing performance. The ground electrode incorporates a U-groove and taper cut design, creating a large volume area that optimizes flame kernel growth for more complete combustion. A 360° laser weld ensures a robust seal, resisting wear and tear under the most demanding conditions. With its resistor type design and a 5k Ohms electrical resistance, the IXU24 provides reliable performance and reduces radio frequency interference.
