Description
This stator cover gasket utilizes AFM (Aluminum Foam Material), a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. This innovative material provides an 85% recovery rate and maintains strong torque retention, even under extreme conditions. The aluminum core offers enhanced strength, preventing weeping or crawling, which is crucial in modern engine cases with limited sealing surfaces. The AFM material resists temperatures exceeding 250°F (121°C), ensuring long-lasting reliability. Magneto cover gaskets are made from EST (Extreme Sealing Technology) material for optimum sealing. Installation is quick and easy, as the AFM material will not stick to the engine case, eliminating the need for scraping. Forget about messy gasket sealants or silicone beads; this gasket requires no additional sealing compounds or re-torquing.
