Description
This Cometic Magneto Cover Gasket utilizes EST (Extreme Sealing Technology) material instead of fiber, delivering superior sealing capabilities. The AFM (chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core) construction offers exceptional high-temperature resistance (up to 250°F or 121°C) and an 85% recovery rate, maintaining strong torque retention. Its aluminum core provides added strength, preventing weeping or crawling in modern engine cases. Installation is quick and easy, as the AFM material will not stick to the engine case, eliminating the need for scraping. No gasket sealants or silicone beads are required, and re-torqueing is unnecessary.
