The Vertex Pro HC Forged Piston Kit is meticulously crafted using Vertex technology to achieve an optimal high compression ratio of 14.2:1, enhancing your 250cc 4-stroke engine's output. Each piston is forged from 2618 aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength and resistance to wear under extreme conditions. The pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment, a hardening and tempering cycle to further improve their structural integrity. A high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite coating is applied to the piston skirts, reducing friction and promoting faster break-in times, while also extending piston life.
