Renthal's Twinring™ rear sprocket is engineered for maximum performance and longevity. The inner ring is manufactured from Renthal's high-strength Ultralight™ 7075 T-6 aluminum, providing exceptional weight savings and optimal power transfer. The outer ring features an electro-less nickel-coated steel construction, ensuring ultimate durability and resistance to wear. Designed with minimal material, the outer ring maintains a lightweight profile. The outer ring is thermally expanded at 200°C and then fitted over the inner ring. This interference fit, combined with a unique wave pattern, creates a permanent bond that lasts the life of the chainwheel. Flat socket head screws further enhance the chainwheel's strength, protecting it from side impacts and preventing contact with the chain guide. Self-cleaning mud grooves between each tooth prevent dirt buildup, reducing chainwheel wear and weight. Expect three times the lifespan of a standard all-aluminum sprocket, while remaining significantly lighter than an all-steel rear sprocket.
