The 944 Series Shocks utilize Progressive Suspension’s Frequency Sensing Technology (FST), allowing them to sense the frequency of bumps and automatically adjust damping for superior ride quality. The unique spring combination lowers rider height both when riding and on the side stand, enhancing control at intersections and during parking. Easily adjust spring preload by hand, eliminating the need for special tools. These shocks feature progressive rate mainsprings specifically designed for touring models and are high-pressure gas charged for consistent performance. The QPS upgrade kit (available separately) allows you to adjust the sag without removing saddlebags when switching between single rider, two-up, and solo riding configurations. Super heavy-duty applications are recommended for bikes operating above the manufacturer’s maximum load rating over 50% of the time. Before purchasing or attempting to install shocks that are different than the OEM length, confirm that your wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues, such as swingarm/axle to exhaust contact, as well as chain/belt guard or tire contact. QPS upgrade kit is required for easy preload adjustment.
