The Moose Offroad Steel Front Sprocket is meticulously machined from impact and wear-resistant chromoly steel, ensuring exceptional strength and longevity. This reduces stress and wear on both the sprocket and the countershaft, leading to improved performance and extended component life. The sprocket undergoes a specialized heat-treatment process, enhancing its hardness and resistance to deformation. A final nickel coating provides excellent corrosion resistance and lubricity, ensuring smooth chain engagement and reduced friction. When selecting a sprocket with a larger tooth count than stock, always verify adequate clearance to prevent interference with other components. This 13T countershaft sprocket is designed for a 428 chain.
