The Karoo 4 features a newly developed, robust rubber compound in the front tire, ensuring resistance and a wide temperature operating window for consistent performance. Its patented multi-pitch profile design minimizes noise and promotes smooth rolling. Angled tread blocks enhance off-road traction while maintaining stability and directional control on paved surfaces. An optimized contact surface increases the number of tread blocks in contact with the ground, improving rolling smoothness and supporting advanced driver assistance systems. The patented tread design utilizes a mud collection reservoir for superior self-cleaning and enhanced traction in challenging conditions. Incorporating DYMATEC™ (Dynamic Mould Angle Technology), the tire's tread groove walls feature variable angles based on inclination, increasing tread resistance and promoting even wear. The radial construction, with INTERACT™ technology, uses steel belts with varied tension ranges to improve feel when leaning, reduce structural stress, and maximize steering neutrality and wet performance. The rear tire features a dual compound layout: a 100% carbon black compound in the center for extreme abrasion and tear resistance, and a softer base compound with silica for thermal stability and improved on-road performance.
