The Karbonfibr Designer Series brake lines are engineered with an enhanced construction specifically designed to be compatible with Harley-Davidson ABS requirements for both stock and alternate length brake lines. The wire braid is created from distinct black and gray tones interwoven to mimic the appearance of high-tech carbon fiber, providing a unique alternative black braid that complements black or blackout color scheme motorcycles. Featuring -3AN connections for easy installation and highly polished, black chrome-plated fittings, these lines ensure a great fit and long-lasting durability. The crystal-clear outer jacket offers exceptional protection against scuffing and discoloration, while the inner PTFE tubing braided with Aramid Fiber reinforcement significantly reduces line expansion, delivering the ultimate in high-performance braking. This is an upper brake line kit. Upper brake lines will require the use of adapters #1742-0658 for '18 - '21 models or #1742-0458 for '12 - '17 models (sold separately) to install. Non-stock applications require taking a measurement for upper brake line length and banjo angle to ensure correct fitment. Harley motorcycles equipped with anti-lock brake systems require ABS-specific upper and lower brake line kits; failure to do so may result in compromised anti-lock braking ability. Magnum Shielding upper brake line kits manufactured specifically for these applications are identified with the letters "ABS" printed directly on the brake hose.
