The Dynatek Single-Fire Electronic Ignition System builds upon the legendary Dyna "S" platform, adding the crucial capability of independently firing the front and rear cylinders. Unlike the stock ignition, which fires both cylinders simultaneously, this system optimizes timing for each cylinder individually. The wasted spark in the rear cylinder during its intake stroke can lead to harder starting, increased engine vibration, backfires, and fuel reversion into the carburetor, resulting in power loss. Dyno testing proves that this single-fire system eliminates these issues, providing a significant power boost, particularly in bikes with performance camshafts. Vigtigt at vide
This ignition system is not recommended for use with OEM coils. For 1984-up Harley-Davidson models, an advance weight mechanism is required. This unit must be used with special Dyna coils. A tach adapter is required when using an electric tachometer. This system is not compatible with fuel-injected models.
